Sustainability is majorly important to us. Especially being a slow fashion brand in this day and age. We will always do our best to make sure we are abiding by the ideas of circular fashion. When you purchase from our small business you can be confident that you are supporting our commitment to being as sustainable as possible. 

We will abide by our commitments by

• Using packaging that can be recycled, reused, or composted
• Manufacturing our garments in Australia and paying our machinists a fair wage - or in most cases a wage they have set for themselves (piece work agreements)
• Using natural fibre fabrics only
• Using dyes that are ecofriendly to our planet
• Making small batch collections or making to order 
• Making a plan with machinists to use the entirety of the fabric to minimise scraps produced
• Using scraps to the best of our ability and giving them new life
• Discarding of scraps we cannot use appropriately and responsibly to UPPARREL
